QUOTE(boanna)
i have seen them all many times and i dont remember george saying that at a diner party.  which one?

It's from Curb Your Enthusiasm, not Seinfeld. But the star of Curb is Larry David, one of the co-creators of Seinfeld. The character of George is based off the real life Larry David. In Curb Your Enthusiasm, David plays himself in a show about his life after Seinfeld. Funny as hell. Actually Jason Alexander(George Costanza) has quite a few apperarances in Vurb Your Enthusiasm. Check it out!

That is all.

QUOTE(boanna)
yea but...he also followed an x-coworker out of state just to give him his "jerk" cut/joke and it failed!

Is that Seinfeld or Curb???

The only thing I can think of is when George is eating "shrimp" at a work lunch and his co worker says, "Hey george, the ocean called, they wan't their Shrimp back!"

seinfeld. It's when george is eating shrimp and the guy says, "george, the ocean just called. They're running out of shrimp." George has no comeback and it kills him. He later thinks of a "good" comeback line, which is "the jerk store called and they're running outta you!" he travels far to go to a meeting, orders in shrimp, and eats it like a maniac just to get this guy to use that line on him. He delivers his jerk store line which immediately backfires with "that's okay. Cuz you're their all-time bestseller" George replies "well, I slept with your wife!" only to find out that the guy's wife is in the hospital. George has nothing and leaves the meeting. On his long drive home he thinks of something, which we don't know what it is, and is compelled to turn around to deliver his comeback.

My comeback would have been: Yeah, I know she's in the hospital. her complete sexual exhaustion was my doing, you jackass!

Anyway... I'm sure you knew that already. I just wanted to relive the moment and get a good laugh out of it.

I was going to post something , but I had to look it up to be sure I was right. When I did, I found this hilarious line...

"At the bowling lanes, Homer, Moe, and Apu prepare their balls. "
