Is this thread really about movie reviews? Anyway, I just got in from the new John Cena movie and it's not too bad. Don't expect much and I laughed through most of it but it's okay if you like action movies......and are a 13 year old boy or maybe a 9 year old girl or in my case a wrestling fan  . Sorry y'all my secret is out  .

and bondi will be glad to take them on a date to the movie :P

but yeah, the movie looks alright, but I don't think anyone going into it will be expecting an Oscar performance, just entertainment.

I wonder if there are any Simpsons references in the movie.

Beerfest:

Although the ending is so cliche it almost makes me want to vomit, it is a pretty fucking funny movie! The accents are so bad I think it was intentional and it makes the movie funnier! If watching Beerfest does not make you want to go out and drink beer you are either a martian or a homo sexual.

Knowing this movie was inspired by an event in Australia called the Beer Olympics makes it even greater for me to watch!

Gnappy, unlike many other Hollywood movies that forget Canada and Australia exist, our nations make fleeting but funny cameos in this film

No Simpsons references

Well, i watched Borat the other day and my god was that funny. Sasha has impeccible comedic timing. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. The scenes in that penticostal (not sure if thats right) church were hysterical, amazing and somewhat frightening. Talk about extremism!

What I found in the movie was this, Americans are either very well mannered or very prejudicial. I know only extremes were shown but the amount of time he offends Jews and Women is laughable. Asking a gun salesmen which is the best gun to shoot a jew without the salesmen even flinching. The young guys he hitches with asking about female slavery and how they wish it was in America... simply astounding.

This movie will and has offended a lot of people but if you have a sense of humour and aren't easily offended, it is worth watching

Mission Impossible III. Great movie/ with stunning special effects. The extras on the Dvd are worth watching, especially the "Making of" one.

yeah I REALLY have to check this movie out. I've been watching some clips from the TV show version online and that guy is a comedic genius.
can't wait to see it. people who don't "get" the film and see it as purely offensive are exactly the people who need to understand the underlying message of it most.

Finally I have something to this thread :D

We watched Ice Age II with hubbie (yep, 5-year-old tasmanian was sleeping!) and it was goooood! Now you all going to laugh at me (oh yes you will!) because I found few parts of that movie scary!! I mean the parts where these two mean fishys wake up and start hunting others :S and this poor turtle lost his life :( buhuu!!

It´s a good movie, I found it terrible funny when this lady-mammoth thought she was an "opossumi" (I have no idea what that animal is in english!!!! someone, help!) But the end is so sweet!!!

Oh, and I must recommend Rammsteins new live-dvd to all of you :D It´s so good that I have watch it 5 times already!! (ok, I´m crazy...) Good music, good-looking-man (6 actually) and a great show with amazing lightning and fire! Documentaries are for hard-core-fan like me ;) but if interested, there are two docs, you can see their lead guitarist making a breakfast (bratwurst :D )
