Thinking of Lynette, the Tahitian Princess, since the Tonga volcano blew. I hope she was in L.A. around this time
Tahiti is roughly 800 miles (1,300 km) away from Tonga. By this volcano's standards, energy released when it blew, that was a front row seat.
