DAMMIT!!!  I was going to get all caught up here last night, and I had no fucking Internet. It pissed me off cuz I had a lot of other shit to do on the Internet also.

Yeah I download porn at home too :P

QUOTE(Bobaloo)
the local cable company is my ISP and the supply cable flaps in the breeze between the utility pole across the street and the side of my house near the top.  Well, the stupid fuckers who have low IQs and no concept of thinking ahead and are performing the construction on my street ran into the fucking cable with one of their machines and tore down the fucking cable.  they damaged the siding on my house, fucked up some shingles on the roof and left me without out internet for the night.  I now have to miss a bit of work to go meet the installer to have him hook it all back up.  On top of all of that, the fuckers didn't even call in the cable hit, didn't leave a note, didn't call the cable company to let them know they had a line down... nothing!

I am about to make a phone call to the village to file a complaint and a claim.  I can't wait to get bids for the most expensive contractors I can find so I can get a big-fattie check from the fuckers and then do the work myself.

Okay.  that's all I got for now.

Just thought I'd let everyone know

I feel much better getting that off my chest.

And speaking of chest, I sure would love to see some yummy female boobies in here. :)

Well that sure sucks. That same thing happened at work here awhile ago. But to their credit, they got it fixed within hours. Sure I was without internet, but also, no one could call and bug me here at work so I didn't complain.

If you want I'll give you an outrageously high estimate for fixing your house.

You know, a simple 50 cent washer would have prevented all your problems.

Scram!

I had to look that up cuz I couldn't remember exactly how homer blew him off. I ran across this great line and thought I'd share the laugh...

Burns: I want you to arrange a party for two at my estate:
Marge, me, and do you think you could dig up Al Jolson?
Smithers: Ah, do you remember we did that once before?

He tells him to scram, then surly joe tells him he has a washer in the van he'll just give him. Homer tells Marge to get his gun.

Well I guess that's the good thing about getting cable and internet from a major comglomerate. Here in the Toronto area i'm a subscriber to Rogers Digital Cable and Internet. It's a bit on the expensive side but I rarely get into these kind of problems. Now once every oh I dunno 6 months or so my internet will be down for a couple hours but that's the extent to my problems.

The last major thing that happened wasn't even a Rogers problem as a transformer blew and my neighborhood was out of power for about 5 hrs. No big deal tho. :)

Saskatchewan is pretty much a Communist province. We get our internet/security/cell phone/landline/digital cable all from the phone company which is government run. Pretty much everything here is govenrment run.
The government thinks, "we need to create jobs!" So they just fund a new company that waste taxpayer's money. And with that I've completely gone off topic.

as much as the cable company lacks in the way of intelligence and customer service, I give them props for this one... well, to a degree. the road construction crew are the fuck-ups. the cable install came to repair it and did a great job. He ran a brand new line, rasied it, installed a new mount, and routed it differently so as not to interfer with the electric line like it risked before. he also tucked it beneath the siding real nice so I didn't have to deal with the unsightly cable hanging around the house. the install did a great job...

here's the to the degree part I mentioned:

at 12:30 I received an automated phone call to confirm my appointment for 10:00-12:00 telling me that the technician should arrive about 1:00. isn't that just dandy. nothing like scheduling an appointment, eh?

BTW... if my Interent went down for a couple hours every 6 months or so, I'd go in-fucking-sane. I hate when the Internet gets fucked up. It happens at work all the time. that's why DSL suck the wang!

When i was younger, my teacher told me that if I didn't have anything good to say, it was better to say nothing at all.

I don't often listen to what people in authority tell me

Yeah, I was wondering when work would begin for you. I have a friend who's a bean farmer down south and he's been getting ready for a bit now...

and don't worry. We'll try to make sure the ladies stick around. there'll still be plenty to enjoy.
