Only problem is that I'll probably be a little more scarce around here for the time being till I get all this stuff set up and running smoothly. Not that most of you would really see that as a problem or even really notice
anyway.. that's all for now. Just wanted to share that with y'all and what better place than my fabulous 411?
how does her husband feel though? I'd feel like a douchebag if I had to get some other guy to pay for my wife's implants. I suppose he still gets to play with them, but still.
Her husband should have found a way to come up with the cash. Even if she needed to get them done one at a time. I've always had a running "joke" with the waitress at the breakfast place where I eat every morning. I told her if I ever hit the Powerball, I'd buy her a new set of tits. If it was over 300 million, I'd buy her two sets, one front and back, so she'd look good coming and going. She always checks to make sure I've bought a ticket.

I agree. What kind of deadbeat couldn't come up with the cash. You guys are always doing stuff together so they can't be completely broke.
Closeup, the extra set would also be good for slow dancing

So one day I opened my big fat mouth and told the little lady that I'd like to help with writing the wedding thank you cards. I never thought she'd actually take me seriously. She started right away, writing them on the airplane on the way back from our honeymoon. I should have just let her sail with it. she finished our immediate families, our wedding party, and a few other close people right away. I made the mistake of telling her that I'd like to add a couple lines on my sisters' and parents' cards and maybe even write a few myself. So they sat there unmailed for like 2 extra months. She kept writing and finished her extended family, thinking I wanted to write the cards for my extended family. Little did she know I was only trying to appear sensative and caring. So I finally got to it about 3-4 weeks ago writing a card here and there when I could. We didn't want the thank yous to be cookie cutter replies so each one was very personal. I'd write like two in the time it took her to write out like 5. I know, hard to believe considering the length of my posts here.
So here we are, 4 months after the wedding, and we finally got the last batch out this weekend. Out of about 250-260 guests, we got out the last 30 cards. I saved some of the special ones for last so it took me quite a while cuz I had lots to write. Anyway, I'm so excited that we finally got these done. That's one fewer thing hanging over my head now.
But... now she wants to send out Christmas cards!!! ARGH!!! so I just went to the store and designed a card with our picture in it. No writing necessary. All i've gotta do now is type up some address labels and steal some stamps from work and I'll be wishing everyone a merry christmas. Except for our two Jewish friends for whom I specially designed Happy Holidays cards.
So that's it. Happy Monday
the moral of this post is that you should always watch what you say in front/to your wife. It WILL haunt you sooner or later!

p.s. If you read this far you are a nerd!
you have a lot to learn about being married
my wife feels we should go half n half on things like that, so I never even suggest doing some in hopes that she will just do it herself.
you are very thoughtful of your jewish friends. to my jewish friends I just black out Santa's or baby Jesus' face on the card.

Well, I was going to do that, but I didn't want anyone thinking that it was 3d's family or anything.

haha...to be honest though, I don't even have any jewish friends. In fact I don't think I even know one jewish person, at least from a practicing religious standpoint. there just aren't many jewish people in my neck of the woods. it's weird cuz there are so many in the USA, at least that's what television would have me believe. can someone please deliver the straight dope on this subject?

If it weren't for jewish people, there would be no Hollywood and half of the comedians out there would be out of material. Other than that I don't really know much about 'em.
I also heard that copper wire was invented because two jewish people were fighting over a penny, but i don't know if I believe that because I sure as hell have never seen a nickel wire.

hmm is that anything like the Polish guy who went in a rocket to the sun once.. at night. And there was that submarine, with the screen doors.
I guess I'm a nerd.... So this is the shit I gotta look forward too huh???
Aussies do the whole Xmas card thing which I find tedious. Anyone that matters an ounce in your life you will see over the festive period so just say it to their faces. I also don't see the point of sending cards to people once a year when that is your ONLY contact with those people? Or is that just my parents that do that?
Also, whats with Americans putting their own picture on a xmas card... I find that hilarious.... anyway my 2 cents

We don't really send out many Xmas cards. I agree that most people I care about I will either see or talk to during the holidays.
Too many people get caught up with all these superficial things and forget the real meaning of Christmas; celebrating the birth of Santa Claus.....and getting toasted, nicely toasted.
