Trying to lose weight and get in shape. Mostly get in shape. I'm not as much concerned with how much I weigh as I am with the shape of my body. It needs some work. Why do you think I hardly ever show anything below waist? It sucks. I am slowly getting better at eating healthy. The exercise is getting easier as well but the results are slow. I've only lost two and a half pounds in three weeks but I'm determined.

I feel your pain girl, I was on a roll than with all going on and with no kids we are eating out like DAILY 3 times a day and all I lost crept back on so now I have to loose that again, and than some. Sucks wish I was one of the girls that can eat whatever and stay slim like my sister. Now with trying for a baby I have to be super careful.

Anyway cant wait to see more pics.

No, I'm pretty happy with my body just would like to stop some wiggle and not have a dress be REALLY big on top and then botom be really snug. I also just want to be more fit, you know like the ability to go for a jog or just get more endurance out of my body. I also want to be healthier. I feel better when I do which is only natural. I figure I better do it know while I'm still young and it's a bit easier than when your older. I think alot about my health lately too. Diabetes and all that.

Nat,

You have diabetes in your family, too? Type 1 or 2? My wife lost two aunts to it. If you have Type 2, you really have to control your weight so that you don't find yourself going through the same stuff that Type 1 people do.

A lot of the stuff in our house (sodas, ice cream, jam, etc.) is sugarless or no-sugar added.

No there's no diabetes that I know of but it has to start somewhere. I'm not much of a sugar person so that's not an issue (can't even eat honey nut cheerios) but salt I should probaly cut down on.

Diabetes Type 2 is getting to be a big problem in the United States, even with children, because of rampant obesity.

If you don't have history of it, though, and are managing your weight fairly well, you probably don't have anything to worry about.

My mother-in-law has it, but she has never been thin. My wife is pretty lean, but pretty safe.

I know, it makes you wonder what all the starving nations think of a country plagued by obesiety (not sure how to spell it).

Diebetes Type 2 is a big problem in impoverished countries. People there don't know how to eat correctly, and managing diabetes is almost thought of something that is in God's hands rather than your own.
