Hi all.

I am starting my more advanced class of Yoga tonight. Really looking forward to it.

Since I started my last class I have become a lot more flexable, which helps in alllllll aspects of my life...

:letsfuck:

Anything you do to become more flexable or "enhance your moves?"

I wanna know!

Mmmmmm looking forward to the relazation part....

Later ya'll!

Are there any guys in this class? I'm into healthy and fitness and i always wanted to try yoga but i feel it is a bit too fruity for a man to do it...i'm not very flexible and i need to work on that...you think doin it at home is good enuff or bein in the class is more beneficial?

My hubby does Pilates, has done wonders for his bad back and flexibility!!!!!!
As for me, I've been doing Raq Sharkih for quite a few years now, and thats really good at keeping me supple and toned at the waist! :2thumbsup:

For those of you reading this and thinking 'what does she do????' You'll be very glad I'm sure to learn that Raq Sharkih is probably much better known as....... Belly Dancing!!!!
:2thumbsup: :)

I like Pavel Tsatsouline's Relax Into Stretch, but I'm pretty sure most people here aren't interested in a guy's flexibility LOL.

what is this gymnastics you speak of? Is it some type of sporting endeavour? maybe if you posted a picture of you engaged in this "gymnastics" I could better understand what it is all about.

That is all.

Hey,

There are two guys in the class! One is my BF. it is a GREAT stress releiver and it works on strengthing your core which is so important. We also do meditation.

I know lots of guys that do it, and have even influenced some to start!

I know you hear so much about it cause it is the "trend" right now, but I would definetly reccomend it!

I think that a class is way more benificial than just doing it at home. Cause it is hard for you to see what you are doing and you may not be doing something right, and doing the move right or having your spine a certain way is so im,portant. Classes are the way to go!

Wel you do a lot of streaching. I am not really sure if it would be good if you lift weights, might want ot ask a professional about that.

You don't hurt yourself in Yoga, that isn't what it is about. Yuo have your limits and you payattention to them and respect them.

Would ask someone that knows more about this stuff professionally, physio therapist, kenisiologist, fitness instructor (don't ask the person trying to sell you the gym membership, those bastards will tell you anything).

When i was younger I did dance and gymnastics. Actually, I guess I'm a little too flexible. I'm suppose to do pilates to strengthen my core muscles and do some weightlifting so my joints are better supported. I can still put both my legs behind my head, and do the "human pretzle"!!!.
