I usually wait until two weeks before Christmas but on a lot of people put theirs up the day after Thanksgiving (a month before Christmas for those keeping score at home)

I did, however, decorate the house with lights this weekend. :2thumbsup:

Not to get back on topic or anything, but I'm in the process now. Had to take the bottom 3 rows off because the tree was eating my dining room. Who knew a 7 1/2 foot tree had to be 6 feet across?? :roflmao:

I wont be having one this year. My roomate is going to his familys house and I'm going to my familys house so there really isn't a reason to put up a tree other than to say "damn dog" often. Actualy, I don't know if he would pee on the tree... I'd wrather not find out though :)

We leave it two weeks before to set up the tree and house lights - any sooner and my husband would be complaining at the number of bulbs he has to replace! And why is that the bulbs that go are always the most inaccessible?

Everyone knows about the legend of santa and his elves. The untold story is of Grog and his goblins, they break the decorations when your not looking.

If you want to save a few bucks, shop for your tree on Dec. 26. It's a good time to buy things like wrapping paper and Christmas cards too.

Y'all make me laugh like no other... "damn dog" and sweetnsexy's pic and comment about the tree up her ass...so funny.
I love christmas lights and all, and i'm sure I'll be more in the mood for getting a tree and ornaments one day, but I'm not sure i'll get into it this year. Probably going to family's for it anyway.

That's the kind of savings I'm talking about. Me and Gnappy ought to start our own financial advice column.

Phase One: Collect Underpants
Phase Three: Collect Profits
"What about Phase Two?"

I think me and Gnappy should take Jrock on board for our financial advice column, he can be Phase Two.
