When I was in Cincinnati the night before last, the guy standing behind me at the hotel check-in was from Sydney. I asked him if he ever went to Bondi Beach. He said he'd been there many times. I said I knew someone from there but that's about as far as the conversation got as I was next in line. It really is a small world.

it would have been funnier if you had asked, Have you ever been in Bondi?

QUOTE(summoner)
I´m not immune to frost  but I like to stay indoors when it´s that cold (-30c) :D And I recommend that if you take some alcohol to warm up, please don´t go out when it´s cold, it might be your last :S

See I am used to being outdoors or having the freedom to go outdoors even at night in the depths of winter.

QUOTE(Gnappster)
Tell her it's a business trip to research Canadian booze
I'm curious to know where you were that was that cold....somewhere in Australia?

I'll try that line... see if it works???

In the southern part of Australia we do have snowfields. I was skiing a few years back and it was -5 on top of the mountain but it was a really windy day and it was snowing so the wind chill was outta this world!

 You'd have an angry mob thats for sure!

Bondi Beach is a big tourist trap. I am actually going to move post wedding due to affordability but it still is like no other place on earth. Literally 10 mins from the CBD of Sydney!

Haha I have been stacking up on windter clothes.

I seriously own 1 jacket, its kinda like this leather motorcycle jacket, i love it but rarely wear it as temps are not condusive to jacket wearing here.

I have been buying long sleeve tops and jumpers and shit. I gotta buy a beanie now too (Skull cap?)

If you're gonna get a beanie, make sure you get one with a propeller. They're all the rage in London. Here's Gnappy with his "Friday" one.

haha I think I'll pass...

Im sure the translation is wrong. What I call a beanie is like a woolen or like material cap worn on ur head to keep your head warm? Like they wear on snowboarding at the X ganes etc?
