Well, we had at least 8 inches of snow fall on Christmas. I don't remember that happening in my life time. I think there was some stat that in a hundred years we've only had it snow on Christmas 12 times... The funny thing is that my grandparents who are in town (and never make it out here) have seen 3 of those snowy Christmases... too funny.

Funny, I thought it snowed much more often in Colorado. Here it's common to have a shitload of snow every year.

Well... it does snow a lot here and even more in the mountains, it's just pretty rare I guess to have it snow on Christmas Day. The mountains get feet of snow for every snow storm up there. In Denver though, we get a handful of storms every winter ranging from a couple of inches to around a foot and the snow is normally gone within a couple of days since the sun is out so often.

Experience a summer christmas one day and report back to me... outside playing with the kids, having a bbq, a beer, lapping up the sunshine. Nothing like it

Perhaps, but I find that there's something magical about snow. Nothing gets better than a snowball fight and a hot chocolate (or coffee) afterwards.

I like the snow as much as the next guy... skiing/boarding is great fun. However, I will see your snowball fight and hot chocolate and raise you a swim at the beach surrounded by bikini clad beauties, a barbecue lunch and a beer afterwards :P

I've always been more of a winter guy. I've always said I'd love the temperature to be ~18 Celscius 3 seasons a year.
