Yeah, i figured your bday is as good an excuse as any to make a weak attempt at a comeback... again. it seems every time I start a come back, I get busy and disappear right about the time I get all caught up again. I always prided myself on having read every single post here. I don't think I'll be able to make that statement again.
So what'd I miss? Please be sure to send anything important my way.

To be honest you didn't miss much... although I don't really remember the date you went AWOL so you might have missed something
Truth be told the boards have been deader than a disco
My birthday was good thanks. I had a low key dinner with my lovely wife, just the two of us. At the time it was heaven because I had been out 7 of the previous 8 nights with various work and social functions... I'd had enough! Slurms McKenzie was all partied out

Yeah, it seems that way. I haven't had a chance to really delve in to the site yet, but nothing seems way outta whack. heck, I left (foolishly, of course) right about when sussed started comin' back around. I thought for sure I'd drop out of the top 10 all time posters with her body stirring up the boards... Shockingly, I didn't even get bumped a single notch. THis place just ain't what it used to be. But it still is one hell of a great place. I'll get caught up soon. I have to change it up a bit from how I used to run the boards. I won't be able to be on throughout the day at work so much anymore. It will have to be more of a posting sprint while at home in the evening.
That sounds like a great bday. Glad you got to spend some time with the little lady. I guess when you're with the right girl, you come to realize that no matter what a great time you could possilby be having while partying with your friends, it's nearly impossible to beat some quiet QT with the wife. Glad that all worked out for ya.

Mate I will tell you the reason.... there are mainly only the slackers posting. Between yourself, Gnappster and I we create interest with the constant need to post, we create humour, we create traffic and therefore create more women.... or something like that

I know there are a few ex Aussie Rules players who punt in the NFL but I have not heard a thing about some guy moving just to follow the Packers? If it made the news here I would have seen it, especially the sports news programes because I am a sports nut

Yes, he quit his job, sold his house and moved here for the season. So far he's been to all of the games, home and away. He makes alot of news here.

I have never once heard of him.
Some sports in the US make the sports news here... largely basketball. Although we get live broadcasts of many Baseball and NFL games here on cable no one really gives a fuck here unfortunately
