ARGH!!! there's an ep where Lisa is criticizing somebody for something or something like that. she then brings up something about slogans and how she wouldn't stoop to that level or something like that. There's then a montage of different characters doing their thing, like bart says don't have a cow man, marge grumbles, homer D'ohs, barney burps, Ned said okily dokily and all that other stuff. Can't find it. referencing that would be the perfect response to all this, but I can't figure it out.

Oh, well. th'ats what you get for being busy at work.

C'mon bob, I'm busy at work too. But you have to put work aside sometimes to do ther eally important projects.
I think you're thinking of the one where bart is the I didn't do it kid.

Lisa: And now you can go back to just being you, instead of a one-dimensional character with a silly catch-phrase.
Homer: [breaks a lamp] D'oh!
Bart: Ay, caramba!
Marge: Mmm.
Maggie: [sucks her pacifier]
Flanders: Heidely-ho.
Barney: [burps]
Nelson: Ha, ha!
Burns: Ex-cellent!
[Everyone looks at Lisa]
Lisa: [unimpressed] If anyone wants me, I'll be in my room.

there is also the one where the simpsons move and when they leave they run through everyone in town's catchphrase but we'll save that for nother time.
That is all®

thanks for your help. I had a feeling it was that one, but I just couldn't remember what he kept saying in that ep. major brain fart. But that's what happens when every time you start something (like a search for such a quote) the phone rings or a customer comes in or someone is bugging you about something.

thanks again

I really have one. here's a pic of it.

Bit-o-trivia...

They wanted a red stapler for the movie, but swingline didnt' make one. So they just got a regular color and took it to a body shop to have it painted for the movie. There were so many requests for the stapler that swingline decided to make one. You can only get it online... at least that was the case when i got mine.
