Before the Simpsons was a regular show, I saw some earlier shorts that were stuffed in as breaks between skits on the Tracy Ulman Show. Are any of those out on DVD? I've got a couple of bad copy that were "taped" (literally) on VHS.

Not exactly. I think they included a couple things from the TU days in the extras sections of the DVDs. But I haven't watched a lot of the extras yet. They TU days weren't that funny compared to now. Wathcing it now is almost irritating cuz you're used to the good stuff. the audio and animation and stuff is just so strange compared to what you're used to. Even season one looks funny to me. But they're out there. I'll try to remember to check tonight and see if I they are all included on the DVDs

If you watch the Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular they show some of the old TU shorts. They were bad, well relatively speaking anyway. But Troy McLure's reaction after they show they them is worth it.
