Chinese women 'need bigger bras'

China's underwear market is set to grow 20% a year over 10 years
Bra producers have been forced to offer bigger cup sizes in China because improved nutrition means women are busting previous chest measurements.
The Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology said the average chest size of Chinese women had increased by nearly 1cm in the past decade.

Measurements were taken from nearly 3,000 women over six years.

In response, some underwear companies have created sub-brands specialising in larger bra sizes.

"It is so different from the past when most young women would wear A- or B-cup bras," Triumph brand saleswoman Zhang Jing told the Shanghai Daily

I agree that this is indeed interesting news. China is going through some changes, though this one is possibly more positive than China's growth in private car ownership and gasoline consumption. I don't think that there is any direct connection between bra size and global warming.

There is a direct correlation. The more food available to the average Chinese woman, the bigger the boobs. More food means more food cultivation means more rain forests turned into farms. Less rain forests equals less carbon dioxide equals more global warming. In other words, big tits are causing the polar ice caps to melt.

About 2-3 weeks ago I would have said probably. But ever since the Simpsons movie annoucement, I would say that all we will ever need to know could be covered by Hollywood creative and money engines
