We stopped at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Roatan Island. Yes the rum cakes were scrumptious to say the least :) The entire week was a beautiful experience!!!

glad you enjoyed the cruise. that was pretty much the route we took when we took our first cruise with Carnival. started off in Florida, then to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and finally Baton Rouge before heading back to home port. thing i remember about Cozumel were the white sand beaches, the main road after the port which was like a outlet mall strip, and a bar called Carlos and Charlie's. did a second one last year through the Eastern Caribbean too. :cheers:

We also travelled with Carnival...great ship that's for sure! Yes the beaches in Cozumel were gorgeous weren't they :) We're looking forward to our next one...will probably be the Eastern Caribbean :cheers:

for one, i would suggest skipping the island of Dominica. the natives were way too pushy and such the moment you stepped off the port. we couldn't even walk around 15min without being hassled every minute. Barbados was cool; went on the Malibu Rum tour, sampled some, and sunbathed until the end of the tour. would've done a pirate tour (the islands were used for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies) but it was cancelled for some reason. tour of Antigua was fun.

also, after just walking around during the Western Caribbean and doing a couple of tours, i'd suggest taking the tours you feel you'd enjoy. next time, i'm going to make sure i have enough cash to pay for a few tours over the course of the port stops. :thumbup:

I hear ya about Dominica...my friend went there and said the same thing. One can never be too careful when travelling abroad that's for sure!
While in Belize we did the Mayan Ruins Tour...it was AMAZING!!! Hoping to go back to Belize one day just to discover more of the island, I had a profound connection to the place that is yet be explained :)
