Ok, as you may or may not know...I recently turned 21. Here is the thing, I don't know what to drink. haha. Here is what I've had so far:

A) strawberry daquri (sp)

yum :)

B) sex on the beach

eh, it was drinkable

C) Alabama slammer

I wasn't gonna drink this, until I was thirsty from dancing and then downed it.

D) screwdriver

Yum :)

E) long Island iced tea

This tasted like ass, but I was told by someone who tasted it and gets them all the time that it wasn't made right it had waaaaaaaay to much whiskey (does it have whiskey?) in it. so, I'm not sure if not liking it is accurate or not. I just know it tastes like burning!!!!! (heh)

I like beer too, but I can't even get a buzz off of beer. Hmmm... what do you guys drink?

LIT = vodka gin rum tequilla triple sec, lemon/sour mix splash of coke for color
New Orleans Iced Tea = all of the above Plus Chamboard = Mmmmmmmmmm

Nice Basil Haydens bourbon.....mmmmmm hint of vanilla in the aging

otherwise go with a Tanqueray and Tonic
or the staple Vodka & Cranberry
BUT when ordering mixed drinks DONT waste your money on Top Shelf brands, ie Ketel One and Tonic, Stoli and Cranberry

For Vodka mixers Smirnoff is sufficient, stay away froom well liquors as they're the cheap shit

sucks that 21 is legal drinking age in the US.

My favourite beverage, alcoholic or otherwise, is beer. I enjoy it lagers, ales, stouts, black n tans, pilseners. And if you can't get a buzz off beer then maybe you're drinking O'Douls ;) . Or get a beer bong and I guarantee you'll be fucked!

Other than I enjoy, Crown Royal Canadian Whisky and Diet Coke or reg Coke and a little water.
Caesars rock too although not too popular in the states. Vodka, clamato juice, worcestorshire sauce, tabasco, salt n pepper served over ice in a celery salt rimmed glass with a stalk of celery.
Vodka mixed with pretty much everything is good.
I have others but am too lazy to type them out right now, maybe later.

Hmm, the different drinks. I personally like to drink different things depending on situation and my mood, do the vodka cranberry or rum and coke to get drunk quick. Smirnoff's almost all flavors are good, Woodchuck Apple Cider is good, but usually beer does me good, I prefer lagers but depends on what's going on.

pay got it right when ordering drinks. if you're mixing it, don't waste your money on top shelf stuff. buy that for at home and house parties.

find out what you like. rum, gin, vodka (my favs)

rum, vodka or gin with oj
martini-dry with a good vodka or gin (nothing that comes in a plastic bottle)
zombies are great  :flashboobs:
cuba libre (rum, coke, lots of fresh lime--no diet coke)
bay breeze--vodka, cranberry, pinapple juice
for up there where it's cold--peppermint patty--hot chocolate  with peppermint schnapps (rumple minz is good 100 proof schnapps)

and don't forget about the jonestown parties--grape koolaide with everclear :flashboobs: :flashboobs: :flashboobs: :puke:

Being the site's resident self proclaimed alcohol expert I will field this one.

What are you taste preferences?

Some people enjoy the taste of alcohol while others like to drink but hate the actual alcoholic taste. Also are you looking for shooters, a mixer drink or cocktails????

If you enjoy the taste of alcohol dry a Grey Goose Vodka Martini as a cocktail, a Cuervo Lime and Soda for a mixer or simple a Chartreuse on the rocks.

If you despise the taste of alcohol stick with dacquiri's, Sex on the beach or Midori Illusion for cocktails, Vodka and cranberry juice for a mixer and a cock sucking cowboy for a shooter!

I'm one of those... I can't stand the taste of alcohol, and I don't actually drink all that much, but sometimes I just want to. Best drinks I've ever had - sour apple martini, strawberry margarita.

for someone who doesn't like the taste of alcohol your doing well with the sour apple martini.

Just keep trying things and you'll find out wether you like them or not!

I must sympathise with you guys... having to wait until 21 to LEGALLY drink...ouch!

I'm somewhere in the middle, I like the taste as long as it doesn't blow you away.
