ok...think im bugged as a mother fucker, but of course, norton sucks huge monkey blue balls and doesnt find shit....did a spyware and that cleaned up alot but pretty sure im still fucked out the arsehole...so im checking for some GOOD preferably free antiviruses. anyone got any suggestions as to where i can go? a place my grandmother used gave her AVG antivirus but i cant find the freeware version of it so yeah...kinda shafted there...anyway...any help would be greatley appreciated..thanks guys

I am not going to link the site for you because Im a lazy fucker.... but I use Spybot. Google search it... its free and works great

goto mininova.org and download kaspersky for free.. it finds loads more than norton :2thumbsup:

I use Stopzilla, but it costs 9.99. It works okay, I got this weird virus called SpyFalcon and had a really hard time getting rid of it.

got AVG...didnt seem to find anything...but iunno...maybe the adaware got rid of them all. was prolly spyware anyway *shrug*

Microsoft AntiSpyware actually does a pretty good job, too. It's free.

What I run on my system is:
AVG - Virus
http://free.grisoft.com/

Ewido - Trojans
http://www.ewido.net/en/

PrevX - home intrusion detection
http://free.prevx.com/

adaware & spybot

I'm also looking for a good free download/upload meter to monitor any weird internet traffic which is normally a sign theres something on your system there shouldnt be.
