Trust us, Penelope, we send our soccer teams to your football games...cause our football players would look way stupid dressed in full padding and helmets out on your fields. :roflmao:   :roflmao:

Remember George Bernard Shaw's quote about "two nations separated by a common language?" This is definitely one of those points.

Yes, still can't see why they need all that padding, they don't do anything, and its not any rougher than rugby, and we don't wear all that silly mallarky for that!

Be very carefull about that judgement...Rugby players tend to be strong but much lighter in body weight...a rough sport yes but nothing like North American football where some linemen can weigh as much as 300 lbs and still be healthy. Running into one would be a kind to hitting a brick wall! It's an ugly sport at best.

All they do in baseball is run around the block and throw things at each other...

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Meanwhile, I live about 50 miles from Cooperstown, NY where the baseball hall of fame is located...

I knew your were talking about football, I was just teasing ya because Professional baseball has got to be one of the most boring games to watch. They take forever to do anything, even stepping out onto the plate takes for goddamn ever! :bang:
