Triskaidekaphobia = fear of the number 13.

Paraskavedekatriaphobia = fear of Friday the 13th.

Is there something to this number or day being unlucky or is it just a bunch of bologna?

Do you know someone who is highly superstitious, especially on this day?

I know that many buildings skip 13 when numbering floors and I've heard airplanes don't have a row 13.

What, if any, have your experiences been?

I know a few people who are born on the 13th - they ALL claim 13 to be VERY lucky

well I think a lot of people view the 13th as a reversal of their luck. So by that logic, it should be a very lucky day for me indeed!

Well, the day turned out to be pretty unlucky for the people who operate their business down the hall. Someone broek into their office and stole some equipment. They had only been in the complex for about a month too. Sux.

I just saw the rum and had a guess....

Something I never realised about alcohol strength. In the States alcohol strength is bassed on the "proof" of the alcohol (151 proof rum etc)

In Aus and most of Europe I believe we judge strength in alcohol percentage. (Jager is 38% alcohol)

To find out the % of alcohol just half the proof on the bottle

Well I must say i dont sell alcohol in the states. I knew the equation beforehand but I did not know you guys dealt mainly in "proof" while we deal mainly in "percentage"

p.s the girls are hot... check out www.cuervonation.com and go to the Australian link and then click on the link that reads "Meet The Cabinet"
