I looooooove birds. I hate a white faced cockatiel several years ago, and I loved him to death. Unfortunately my asshole brother gave him a heart attack...but we won't talk about that. He was soooo smart. I couldn't belive how smart he was, and I loved him so That's why I haven't gotten another one, because I know it'll never be as cute and smart as he was. No other bird would compare. *sniff*
btw what kind of birds are they? The pics aren't very big...they look like conures?

Yours is beautiful, I've been saying that my next bird will be a cockatiel. The pics I showed were of my green cheek conure, and my quaker. I also have 4 budgies and 2 lovebirds, but they're not so tame. I know how you feel about no other birds replacing the one you lost, I think my quaker is the best ever and when she's gone (in about 40 years or so ) no bird will ever replace her. Also, I had a really great bird years ago and someone gave him a heart attack too, so I feel your pain.
I had a parakeet growing up. I was her favorite even though she didn't like me after I moved away for college. I came home one week-end and found her at the bottom of her cage. Don't know whether I'll have another bird though.
