You tell your man he'd better take days to wrangle the kids while you recouperate. Not enough people take the necessary time to rest and heal when they SHOULD and therefore never fully get back to themselves. If he bitches just tell him, 5-7 days now and then you're just as good as new or 2 days now and you take the next three months to get to your old self if not more!!!!

You really should listen to the doc and shut yourself down for at least 10 days hun. With viral infections you need to do that.

See it's a situation with his job where he can request to use his vacation or personal days but they have to be approved. So they dont have to let him off and right now they are short handed so yesterday when he requested off his supervisor told him it didnt look good but he'd try. He's been working 12 hour days. Even on Saturday. So i'm sure they aren't going to let him off.

LMAO @ lots of rest!  Thats what my doctor said too.  No way that can happen with 2 kids. I sure wish it could though.  I feel like i got hit by a truck.  Maybe i can convince my man to take a couple days off work. ;)

hope you feel better soon! I know what you mean about it being impossible to rest with kids, an effort in futility hehe.

Your son is about the same age as my daughter (if I remember right) so I bet he has the same two speeds as her. Full blast and Asleep!

Yea, she's the same way, and it doesn't matter how late you let her stay up she's still up at 7 the next morning.

It must be one of those "you only can understand when it happens to you" sort of things.  Right now I'm just so caught up in my husband and spending as much time together.  Kids will be in the picture (eventually) but right now it's fun to be selfish and just the two of us.

FYI Kiana...your new avatar is HOT!

It is hypnotic, and you just keep staring at it waiting for pieces of clothing to come off....
