Ok. One of my online buddies here convinced me that I've been a little remiss regarding posting on this board. So here goes...
I was born in Atlanta Ga., moved to Thaiti when I was two years old with my folks and two older sisters, (my dad moved us there as he had jobs in Austrailia and the Phillipines, but loved Moorea and Bora Bora in Tahiti). Came back here at fourteen after both my folks passed with my sisters for school. I graduated from UCLA, started a small business, and was very fortunate at business developement. I love traveling and have a passion for island life, both in the south seas and the caribbean. I try to get back to Bora Bora and Moorea about once a year now to visit friends and relatives (my mom was Tahitian). Aside from being an action junkie (I'll try anything once), I still play music and sing in a couple club bands on weekends, and party the same way I did while I was in school. *SIGH*, guess that's about it. But, I'll answer any questions, If anyone has any.

what would you say is the best place you've traveled to or the one you'd want to visit often?

what would you say is the best place you've traveled to or the one you'd want to visit often?
Well... I like to "get away", so the traditional places like Europe and such are generally not my cup of tea (although the Italian part of me LOVES Florence and Rome... AH! The food!!!). I love island life. Even though I was brought up in the south seas, the different culture of the caribbean intrigues me. Still, the most BEAUTIFUL island on earth is still Bora Bora according to James A. Mitchner. It's not for everyone though. Most Americans would probably consider it primitive by Hawaiian standards... But, THAT'S the beauty of it. And, the Tahitian people are fabulous. There are places in south Africa that I thought were nice as well, and The valley of the kings in Egypt is truly awe-inspiring, but they're not islands . Aruba is another favorite of mine too. It's not lush and green like where I was used to, it's more of a desert island, but really fun non-the-less. Just no surfing there .

Wow, I don't think we've ever chatted but you definitely sound like an interesting woman with a worldly life. I'm here looking at breasts one minute and the next I find myself drawn in by your opening story. Not sure how that happened but I do hope we get a chance to chat.

I can say I've been a few places out of the country but for way different reasons. Back in high school, our marching band went to a competition up in Quebec for a weekend in May. Also spent a semester in Wroxton, England which i totally enjoyed with all the tours they offered throughout the semester, including a weekend in Edinburg, Scotland and Paris, France. in the last 8 years, went on two cruises, one through the Western Carribean (Grand Cayman & Cozumel) and the Eastern Carribean (St. Thomas, Barbados, Dominica, St. Lucia, etc.) for the view, the islands in the Eastern Carribean. so peaceful there and crystal blue waters with the rising islands and all. what an amazing getaway from the world. England was great too with all the castles and Stonehenge and scenery as well

I agree. I was in England for a photo shoot once when I was in college. I was there in Feb. and it was a bit dank, but I LOVED the architecture and the lands north of London. Justbeautiful country with a very different historical feel there.

Even where we dormed for the semester was a mansion built on top of an abbey that was around, if i recall what they said correctly, since AD 600? and of course when we went to Canterbury which is obviously referenced from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. but i do remember the difference in sunlight very well. so dark early in Feb but by the time May came sunset was around 10PM or so.

Yup! You're SO right! I just regret not having a reliable (discrete) camera guywith me around a lot of those historical sites. I'd have loved to somehow get thru the fence at Stonehenge and taken a bunch of nude, dramatic shots. Oh well, mayb e next time.

that would've been amazing to pull off. considering the security, probably a big risk to try though. better chance in Avebury where they have two rings of stone slabs, some large enough to climb and not as protected

wasn't too fond of France though. did the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame, and the Louvre thing but beyond that it was "eh?" was there for a weekend in April (the weekend Curt Cobain died) but wasn't that impressed.

I agree. Plus they're NOT the most hospitable people on earth. France?... No thanks. I'll stick to island life. The smalled the island, the better (as long as it supports life ans isn't over-crowded).

i hear you on that by the way, i see in this one you've tanned quite a bit darker than in most of your pics. looks good on you. guessing that's how dark your skins turns then?

Absolutely! I don't have a lot of "sun time" due to my work and such when living in the state. I don't believe in tanning beds, or spray-on crap, but I DO tan very easily and the picture here reallydoesn't show hoe dark I usually get when I go back home or on vacation. I never use tanning aids, just don't see the point. I usually get dark enough not to burn withing a few days of just being in the sun. Besides... I HATE tan lines.
the difference in skin tone is very noticeable compared to the other pics you've posted, but can certainly tell it's you when tanned. thank goodness you know how long you can be in the sun without burning. considering how dark you tan, tan lines probably don't look good at all, too much contrast. i, for one, will just go from white to a bit of color to red.

Mdagascar. Absolutely gorgeous place. World's 4th-largest island, home of lemurs, great spices and plants, wonderful people. The coup that took place earlier this year is tragic for the people, especially the poor. While not the poorest of the African countries (they are, indeed, a member of the AU), still pretty poverty-stricken.
