I have always for some reason beeen a fan of the 'rate me' site and like you said, this site seemed to have more genuine pics than others that had 15yr old boys post porn pics straight from the web.
I also procrastinated for a few months before joining and was happy enough just browsing the daily pictures. Back in Feb of 2005 I had a slight mishap on a skateboard and I fractured me elbow. As a result I was off work and home for 6 weeks. So I was at home, bored and looking at porn and "rate me" sites online when I stumbled across this little gem.
The women here seemed to actual amateurs, and not porn lifted off the internet and that appealed to me. For a few months I did not even know there was a message forum here (hell, at the time I didn't know what the fuck a message forum was)
I browsed the daily pics as part of my routine for those 6 weeks and left comments where appropriate. Then one day as a visitor I could no longer leave comments so I signed up.

Haha thanks Chickie... and the elbow is fine now although it does give me grief one or two days a year. The doctor said of any bone to break/fracture in your body your coxis and elbow are the most painful.... thanks Doc!

Damn, that was some good guilt for the following 6 months!

I've got three titanium screws in my elbow. I broke it falling off a moving ramp in 2000. It seems fine but every now and then it aches.

I'm sorry, but I just had to laugh at this one. I'm sure that feeling of guilt was horrible for her.

When I came off I knew straight away something was wrong and I drove my fucking self to the hospital, my wife met me there and every step from the carpark to the front door was agony.
I had x rays and the doctor told me I had bruised the joint and it'll be fine in 3 days. I felt like a pussy, I was in so much pain over some bruising?
Obviously it did not get better and on the 4th day I went to my regular GP who sent me for some further scans and it came up as a fracture through 40% of the bone... ouch!
