every now and then i get an idea to get a tattoo.. mostly something happens like all booked up or something.... so this year i decide to get a daisy chain on my back.. shop was overbooked..!!

so my question is- a tattoo at the base of the back.. is this classed as a ''tramp stamp' as stated in a national newspaper last week or does it turn you on?

I love tattoos but the main thing I would say is too look around for something a little different and when you have something you really want go for it, tattoos from the books in the tattoo shop can be ok but chances are there will be tonnes of people that will have it too.

The other thing to be careful of is the size of the tat, if its too small in a large area, like a little tiny dot in the middle of you back it could look odd, move it to the side on the shoulder blade and can look ok, likewise if you get something massive in a small area like your forearm can look weird too.

I had the idea for both my tattoos on paper for over a year before I got them inked just to make sure I definitely wanted them too easy to get something now that you could hate in a year.

I think tramp stamps are more so tatoos with no meaning as much as they are refering to tatoos on the lower back. A couple of my brother's 16 year old friends have little hearts on their lower backs... pretty much just for the sake of saying that they have tattoos. Those are tramp stamps!!

I think tattoos are sexy as hell when they've got some meaning to them. If you want one and it's important to you then by all means go get one!!

always before i never saw one i liked, then i saw a pretty daisy chain.... but read of a porn girl changed her name to daisy chain.. for reason you can guess.. is it me or did i just hear of it?

would like really really low on the back but not above jeans waist band

My current girl has 2 on her low back...they are sexy as hell and I love how guys get all worked up when they see them as she bartends......I love em.

Agreed... getting a Moari arm band when you are not Maori is ridiculous. Getting a squigle line of a pattern on your lower back that bears no real significance is a tramp stamp.

I dont mind small tattoos on chicks but anything on the breast or arse is vomit inducing in my opinion

imho, tats on girls, it totally depends on the tattoo and the girl.
a big tattoo on some girls looks sexy as hell, whereas some small tattoos look really trashy.
I agree, that people should pick something with some significance, and barring that, pick something that is at least a BIT original.

on a side note, they are having a worst tattoo contest for tix to the rob zombie halloween party here.
I told my friend to enter.
His tattoo is star like the dallas cowboys logo

with a lightning bolt like from the gatorade logo

behind it. And the kicker is that he got it on his hip??
Maybe not the worst out there, but it's gotta be the corniest...or tackiest.
