Gnappy,

Hows it hanging brother?

Consider this part 1 of my holiday stories i'll spread across the boards. So yeah when i was travelling across Europe there were a few Canadians in my group, cool people!

One was a young guy travelling on his own, said he was from Vancouver. He had holiday-ed in Australia before so he understood alot of shit I was saying.

Another couple where from Saska (however the fuck u say that place) aparrently about 2 hours from Regina? He was a coolg guy, loved his beer etc and his wife was a looker too :P

Anyway, you guys have things that warm up your engine oil before u start your car in the morning because it gets that cold? Holy fuck!

catch up with ya soon brother

yeah us canucks are everywhere ;)
People from Saskatchewan love telling people about winter hardships haha.
We do indeed have to plug our cars in in the winter. It's called a block heater and it's exactly how it sounds; an electric heater that is installed on your engine block to keep your engine warm so it will start. Or maybe it just heats your antifreeze? Not sure, but the end result is that you can drive to work in the morning instead of swearing and kicking your bucket of bolts. Winter will exploit and and all mechanical shortcomings of a car. I had my car plugged in this winter and there were a few times it STILL barely started. Glad it's springtime now! I love telling people from warm climates who are visiting that we all drive electric cars and have to plug them in at night. Most believe me
And we pretty much all love our beer
cool myspace pics btw.

Well I knew that response was coming...

More Canadian shit I learnt. Clamato? What the fuck is that shit? Clam and Tomato juice and you put it in your beer? The Canadian from the trip couldn't believe I had never tried it, hell I have never even seen the stuff. I think you posted some shit about it in here a while back but I thought you were just taking the piss.

Also, when Candians swear, it sounds way cooler than Aussies. By the end of the trip the Canadians nickname was FUCKER among the Aussie contingent!

It has been discussed here and here.
But yeah us canucks love that shit.
It was actually invented by the due who invented the Caesar drink. He mixed clam broth and tomato juice. I'm not sure what he was on at the time but I wish I could get my hands on some! But it actually tastes good in a Caesar and isn't half bad with beer. I usually drink it as a next morning beer when camping n stuff.
And I fucking LOVE Caesars. It's like the anti-margarita. I find there are too many sweet drinks out there. This one is spicy and sastisfying and gets you pissed. But I'm getting off track.
Maybe if you win the next caption contest, I will send you a bottle of Clamato ;)

And I woulda thought an Aussie swearing would sound cooler than us. Guess it all depends on what you are used to.

And that is all, fucker!

PS- I hope you asked the guy if he has any nice tuques. :roflmao:

Yeah dude you gotta send me some of that shit... or maybe just fly me to Canada to try it first hand? This guy on tour loved it, and was hanging out to go home so he could have some clamato in his beer!

I tell you how sad I am... I actually clicked those links

Oh my god... On the cruise boat that takes you across the English Channel it was fucking cold and I was wearing a beanie (tuque). The younger Canadian kid on our tour says to me, "Hey dude, that's a sweet tuque." And I was like what the fuck??? Then I remembered it had been discussed here and I fucking killed myself with laughter. Then i had to explain to bondigirl how I knew such a word!

Yeah, I guess everyone loves an accent that is not their own. Your U's do tend to sound like O's though... which I think is piss funny!

Well it was in Coco Bongo, one girl was dancing on the bar and they have wind machines that blow up the skirts of girls (A stroke of genius if you ask me) so anyway this girl was up there, skirt blown up when these guys started the chant, "Show us your tits, Show us your tits" and she obliged, which sent off a chain reaction of about 5 or 6 girls.

So there I was, nicely fucked up on tequila and I turned to the guy next to me and said the now infamous line. No pics unfortunately, I could barely lift my glass ot my mouth at this stage
