Maybe it's because glass doesn't impart any flavour to the beer, maybe it's the way it pours. I'm not really sure. Maybe it's purely nostalgic.

I also love drinking beer out of a chilled mug. Since I've been making my own beer, I've been drinking it this way as you should pour home brewed beer into a mug first so as to leave the bit of sediment/yeast behind.

Beer in cans isn't as popular here but it's catching on more. I detect a bit of metallic taste in beer from cans, probably cuz I'm not used to it. But canned beer out of a cooler of ice can't be beat! Canned beer is also good for camping/fishing trips etc. because it's easier to transport and you can crush the empties.

Beer out of plastic bottles is my least favourite. I don't know what it is, but something just doesn't taste right about it. But if it's free I'll drink most any kind of beer.

Oh you gotta love free beer. *L* Found out I don't like Pilsner but, it was free. :drinkup:

I think the only reason they still brew Molson Pilsner is for Saskatchewan. It's probably the most popular beer here but pretty much no one else in country drinks it. I don't think you can even get it west of Manitoba anymore. It's not my favourite but I can't drink a few.

so it's january and I know you have a big bday coming up. I'm just wondering what day your birthday is so I know when you start calling you an old fart. Or I could just treat you like CM and wish you happy birthday every day of the year.

It'll show up on "Today's Birthdays", and I don't want to spoil it by giving the date, but it isn't tomorrow, or the day after even and it's before the weekend, but that's as much info as I'm spilling!

Glass bottled beer tastes the most crisp and clean, so i like it.

Cans are fucking great on a warm day like today (It is close to 40C here today) as they get really cold and are great to drink

Plastic bottles (Used at some sporting and outdoor music events) should be banned for crimes against beer. It tastes like shit

I have a pic with nothing on but some labels torn off beer bottles placed on my nipples. Not sure if I have a pic big enough...
I don't know if Kokanee has as sticky labels as Bud, but this could work. And it's fun to get them to stick.
